The Service may be available for use via a web browser or applications. We respect the privacy rights of users and recognize the importance of protecting the information collected about you.
References to “you,” “your,” or “user” means the end-user utilizing or accessing the Service.
Please read the following carefully to understand how we will collect, use, and maintain your Personal Information, as defined below. It also describes your choices regarding the use, access, and correction of your Personal Information. By accessing and using our Service, you signify acceptance to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
We do not ourselves host any of the Website and/or Service - all hosting is done by third-party service providers that we engage. This means that data you provide us or that we collect from you (including any Personal Information) – as further described in this Privacy Policy – is hosted with such third-party service providers on servers that they own or control. Regardless of where such third-party service providers are located, their servers may be located anywhere in the world (including the US). Your data may even be replicated across multiple servers located in multiple countries. So please be aware that you are consenting to your data being transferred to various third-party service providers around the world.
“Personal Information” means any information that may be used, either alone or in combination with other information, to personally identify an individual, including, but not limited to, a first and last name, a personal profile, an email address, a home or other physical address, or other contact information.
We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make any changes, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the end of this Privacy Policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our homepage or sending you an email notification). Such change will be effective ten (10) days following the posting of the revised Privacy Policy on the Website, and your continued use of the Service thereafter shall constitute your consent to such changes. We encourage you to review our Privacy Policy whenever you access the Service to stay informed about our information practices and the ways you can help protect your privacy.

Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies: A cookie is a small file containing a string of characters that is sent to your computer when you visit a website. When you visit the website again, the cookie allows that site to recognize your browser. Cookies may store user preferences and other information. You can set your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, some website features or services may not function properly without cookies. We use cookies to understand and save your preferences for future visits and compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future. We may contract with third-party service providers to assist us in better understanding our site visitors. These service providers are not permitted to use the information collected on our behalf except to help us conduct and improve our business.
We may use the information collected through the Service for the limited purpose of providing the Service, and related functionality and services for which CFOGPT has been engaged. The information may be used for a variety of purposes, including:
We will not share Personal Information about you or any content with any third parties except as described in this Privacy Policy, or as defined in an agreement with us, in connection with the Service. For example, we may share personal information about you:
To Vendors, Consultants, and Other Service Providers: We may share your information with third-party vendors, consultants, and other service providers who are working on our behalf and require access to your information to carry out that work, including companies that provide services such as cloud hosting and customer database software. These service providers are authorized to use your personal information only as necessary in the course of performing their duties to CFOGPT.
In Compliance with Laws: We may disclose your information to a third party: (a) if we believe that disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; (b) to enforce our agreements and policies; (c) to protect the security or integrity of the Service; (d) to protect CFOGPT, our customers, or the public from harm or illegal activities; (e) to respond to an emergency which we believe in the good faith requires us to disclose information to assist in preventing the death or serious bodily injury of any person; or (f) as otherwise directed by you.
For Business Transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing due diligence, reorganization, bankruptcy, receivership, sale of all or a portion of our assets, or transition of service to another provider, your Personal Information and other information may be shared in the diligence process with counterparties and others assisting with the transaction and transferred to a successor or affiliate as part of that transaction along with other assets. You may be notified thereafter via email of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information.
Notwithstanding the restrictions above and elsewhere in this Privacy policy, you expressly agree that the Company retains the right to use, sell, disclose, transfer, or rent any user information as long as such information is in an aggregated anonymized form that does not include any individually identifiable user information, and/or identify you. Further, the Company retains all rights on the use of statistical information, as well as on data and related analysis in aggregate anonymized form, deriving from the use of the Service by its users. For the sake of clarity, such aggregate anonymized information does not include Personal Information, and the user expressly authorizes the Company to use the same to improve the functionality of the Services or to publish the statistical information in aggregate form or for any other requirement that the Company deems fit.
We keep Personal Information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, while we have a legitimate business need to do so, or as required by law (e.g. for tax, legal, accounting, or other purposes), whichever is the longer.
If you have elected to receive marketing communications from us, we retain information about your marketing preferences until you opt-out of receiving these communications and in accordance with our policies.
To determine the appropriate retention period for your Personal Information, we will consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the Personal Information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of your Personal Information, the purposes for which we use your Personal Information and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements.
If you need to change or correct your Personal Information or wish to have it deleted from our systems, you may contact us at privacy@CFOgpt.io. We will address your request as required by applicable law.
We may use your email address to communicate with you about orders you have placed, inquiries you have made about our products and services, or information you have shared with us through the Site or email. We may send you emails from time-to-time, about information that we believe may be of interest to you. We may also send you news and offers about our products and services, or those of our chosen partners.
If at any time, you would like to stop receiving these promotional e-mails, you may follow the opt-out instructions contained in any such e-mail or by writing to us at privacy@CFOgpt.io. Please note that it may take a few business days for us to process opt-out requests. If you opt out of receiving emails or promotions, we still may send you e-mails to you in accordance with this Privacy Policy, as requested by you, or in reference to other customer service purposes.
Our Service includes links to other, third-party websites whose privacy practices may differ from those of CFOGPT. Any access to and use of such linked websites is not governed by this Privacy Policy, but, instead, is governed by the privacy policies of those third-party websites. We are not responsible for the information practices of such third-party websites. We encourage you to carefully read the privacy policy of any website you visit.
The “California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018” or “CCPA” became effective January 1, 2020. The CCPA grants California consumers new rights related to their personal information. The CCPA affords California consumers new rights to transparency about data collection including rights to control access and use of their personal information. We do not sell your Personal Information. We do share some of your information with our trusted service providers, to market our services and operate the Service. We do not allow these third parties to use your information for their own purposes.
Some browsers offer a “do not track” (“DNT”) option. Because no common industry or legal standard for DNT has been adopted by industry groups, technology companies, or regulators, our Website currently does not respond to DNT signals and operates as described in this Privacy Policy. We will make efforts to continue to monitor developments around DNT browser technology and the implementation of a standard. If we do respond to DNT signals in the future, we will describe how we do so in this Privacy Policy.
We have implemented safeguards to ensure an adequate level of data protection where your Personal Information is transferred outside of the EEA, such as by means of our customer data processing addendum by means of which we implement the standard contractual clauses for the transfer of Personal Information as approved by the European Commission (Article 46 GDPR).
The Service is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@CFOgpt.io. If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information. If you are under the age of 18, you may not use our website, products, or services.
You use the Service at your own risk. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect Personal Information both online and offline from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no Internet or e-mail transmission is ever fully secure or error-free. Therefore, you should take special care in deciding what information you send to us via the Service or e-mail. In addition, we are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Service, or third-party websites.
Whether or not you provide Personal Information to us is completely up to you, but if you choose not to provide information that is needed to use some features of our Service, you may be unable to use those features. You can also contact us to request access to your data or to ask us to update, correct, or delete your Personal Information.
While we strive for error-free performance, we cannot always catch an unintended privacy issue. As a result, we encourage your questions and comments about any privacy concerns. Please direct them to us by email at privacy@CFOgpt.io.
